LiFT: Project Management Training
Lift is designed to teach critical skills that Project Managers need in order to be successful in the Management of Projects and in the Cultivation of Business Relationships.
Utilizing case studies, participants will have the opportunity to explore real life situations faced by experienced Project Managers.
They will be able to immediately apply these lessons learned to their own individual projects.
The program’s modules are built to introduce and to enhance a wide variety of technical and leadership skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced, high-demand mechanical construction environment.
MSP: Mechanical Service Professionals Training
MSP is a flexible, multi-module program designed to meet the needs of the different Service Roles within MCAKC member firms. The program consists of (8) core, mandatory classes.
Propel: Leadership Program
Propel is a resource developed by the MCAKC in partnership with Johnson County Community College. The key concept, the identification and development of an organization’s leadership is critical to its achieving growth and maintaining market competitiveness.
Industry Orientation Program
The MCAKC Industry Orientation Program provides employees new to the mechanical contracting industry with foundational knowledge about the profession. Taught by local professionals in the mechanical contracting industry, this seminar involves group discussion and small group interactions to teach you what it takes to thrive in this industry.
Education Reimbursement Program
The purpose of this program is to provide education reimbursements to Mechanical Contractors that are Signatory to Plumbers Local 8 or Pipe Fitters Local 533. These reimbursements may be applied to defer costs associated with attending National MCAA/MSCA or Local MCAKC Educational Events. It is intended to reward organizations that actively participate in Local MCAKC activities.
