What is the Foreman Training Program
Foremen are on the frontline of every company’s success. Every day, foremen and superintendents make decisions that are critical to the success or failure of construction projects. This training provides foremen with advanced knowledge and skills to improve your company’s bottom line.
This highly interactive training program focuses on the knowledge and skills every foreman and superintendent must master to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment, and materials. This program is designed to improve supervisory skills and create a sense of association with the mechanical contractor and our industry.
This training program builds on the foreman’s already complex responsibilities, with courses in influencing, negotiating, and conflict resolution; time management and delegation; document management; becoming a safety leader; situational leadership; client and customer relations; planning and scheduling; and quality assurance and control.
- Create an increased level of skilled field leadership.
- Develop essential supervisory skills.
- Provide tools to handle difficult management situations with greater certainty in decision-making.
- Develop skills to create an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and trust to motivate others excel.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for new, experienced or future foremen, general foremen, superintendents, and other field leaders or managers. The participant should be a skilled journeyman or advanced apprentice.
$1,000 Signatory Contractors
$500.00 reimbursed upon successful completion.
$1,500 Associate Members of the MCAKC
$500.00 reimbursed upon the successful completion.
$1,500 Affiliates (i.e. NECA, SMACNA)
*Successful completion is defined as missing no more than (1) class in this offering of the program.
MCAKC Education Reimbursement Certificates may be used in lieu of payment. Tuition paid using these certificates are not eligible to receive the indicated reimbursement amount.
The Foreman Training Program is a two track program. Each track consists of 7 seminars and is limited to 20 participants, creating an environment that not only empowers participants to collaborate, but to share their diverse perspectives, ideas, and challenges. The program tracks are designed to be taken in any order.
