Foreman Training Program

About

Foremen are at the frontline of every company’s success. Every day, Foremen and Superintendents make decisions that are critical to the success or failure of construction projects. This training provides Foremen with the advanced knowledge and skills to improve your company’s bottom line.

 

This highly interactive training program focuses on the knowledge and skills every Foreman and Superintendent must master in order to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment, and materials. It is designed to improve supervisory skills and create a sense of association with the mechanical contracting industry.

Goals

  • Create an increased level of skilled field leadership.
  • Develop essential supervisory skills.
  • Provide tools to handle difficult management situations with greater certainty in decision-making.
  • Develop skills to create an environment of collaboration, teamwork, and trust to motivate others.

Attendee

This program is designed for new, experienced or future Foremen, General Foremen, Superintendents, and other Field Leaders or Managers. The participant should be a skilled Journeyman or Advanced Apprentice.

Tracks

The Foreman Training Program is a two-track program. Each track consists of seven (7) seminars and is limited to 20 participants, creating an environment that not only empowers participants to collaborate, but to share their diverse perspectives, ideas, and challenges.  The program tracks are designed to be taken in any order.

$1,000.00 Signatory Contractors
$   500.00 Member reimbursement upon successful completion.*

$1,500.00 Associate Members
$   500.00 Member reimbursement upon successful completion.*

$2,000.00 Affiliates (Other Industry Associations)**

*Successful completion is defined as missing no more than one (1) seminar in a program track.
**Affiliates and Other Organizations are not eligible to receive the $500 tuition refund.

MCAKC Education Reimbursement Certificates may be used in lieu of payment. Tuition paid using these certificates are not eligible to receive the indicated reimbursement amount.
