DESCRIPTION:This seminar takes place at JCCC. \n			Signatory Contractors & Associate Members: Contact Jacki Conn to register for FREE.\n			All others may register by visiting JCCC.\n\n\n\n \nThis seminar has been approved by the Contractor Licensing Review Board of Johnson County. \nApproved for: ‘Non-Code’ Credit. \nKansas Sales and Compensating Use Tax for Construction Contractors\nThis presentation by the Kansas Department of Revenue specifically targets construction contractors and subcontractors.  The workshop covers how sales tax applies  to materials and labor\, project exemption certificates\, sales tax returns\, and billing. \nCost: FREE to employees of Signatory Contractors and Associate Members. \nCEU: 0.25 \n  \n\n\n\nRegistration and Attendance Policy:\n			MCAKC offers several fee or no fee networking and educational opportunities to employees of Signatory and Associate Members. \n			Registrants of MCAKC sponsored events\, who wish to cancel their registration\, must do so at least 2 Business Days prior to the event by either email (jconn@mcakc.org) or phone (913-948-9200). \n			“No Shows” will be assessed a fee for the full price of the course and invoiced accordingly. \n			Tax Classes: $25\n			Excel Classes: $200 to $400\n			Leadership Classes: $200 to $400\n			Bluebeam Classes: $400 \n			Transfer Policy:\n			Registrants in JCCC continuing education courses may transfer their registration to another course.
