If you receive a registration restriction message\, contact Jacki Conn to join the waitlist. \n\nThis intermediate seminar is designed for project coordinators\, project engineers\, project managers\, and support staff who need to deepen their understanding of mechanical systems beyond the basics. Led by Brad Perkins\, a professional engineer and senior lecturer at Iowa State University\, this seminar focuses on how air and hydronic systems function and are integrated into building projects—from design layout to installation realities in the field. \nCEUs:  \n0.4 \nTarget Audience: project coordinators\, project engineers\, project managers\, and support staff who need to deepen their understanding of mechanical systems beyond the basics.\n \nCost: There is no charge for employees of MCAKC Member Contractors Signatory to Local 8 & 533. \n$200 for Non-Members Signatory to Local 8 & 533.\n$250 for Associate Members. \nInstructor\nBrad Perkins\, P.E.\, is a Senior Lecturer in Iowa State University’s Department of Civil\, Construction\, and Environmental Engineering. A graduate of Iowa State’s Construction Engineering program\, Brad joined the faculty in 2005 after working as a design engineer. He serves as faculty advisor to Iowa State’s Mechanical Contractors Association student chapter and has been recognized for his contributions to engineering education\, including receiving MCAA’s Educator of the Year Award in 2018. \nCancellation Policy\nCancellations for this MCAKC event must be received at least 2 business days prior to the event by email to learn@mcakc.org or by phone at 913-948-9200. \nRegistrants who do not cancel and do not attend (“No Shows”)\, except in the case of an emergency\, will be invoiced $150.
