Participants will gain insight into how accurate estimates impact project success\, profitability\, and customer satisfaction. By the end of the seminar\, attendees will be better equipped to collaborate effectively with estimators\, support the estimating process\, and understand the financial and operational considerations that drive service work in the field. \nCEUs: 0.4 \nCost: There is no charge for employees of MCAKC Member Contractors Signatory to Local 8 & 533. \n$100 for Non-Members Signatory to Local 8 & 533.\n$150 for Associate Members.\n  \nInstructor\nAngie Simon\, P.E.\, is a nationally recognized mechanical engineer\, former CEO of Western Allied Mechanical\, and past president of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association (SMACNA). With over three decades of leadership in the construction and HVAC industries\, she is a passionate advocate for workforce development\, diversity\, and vocational education. Angie is the co-founder and executive director of the Heavy Metal Summer Experience (HMSE)\, a rapidly growing national initiative introducing high school students to careers in the skilled trades. She serves as a peer-group facilitator with Maxim Consulting and sits on the Dean of Engineering Advisory Board at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
