DESCRIPTION:Exclusive MCAKC Member Opportunity – AdventHealth Championship\n \n\n\nMCAKC is pleased to offer our members a limited-availability hospitality experience at the AdventHealth Championship\, hosted at Blue Hills Country Club\, on Saturday\, August 22\, 2026. \nThis exclusive opportunity allows each participating member and one guest to attend at no cost and enjoy the day in Club FOREteen\, one of the tournament’s premier hospitality venues. In addition to Club FOREteen access\, attendees will enjoy full access to all tournament grandstands and Fan Zones\, as well as a semi-private hospitality space overlooking the 14th green—an ideal vantage point to experience the excitement of the day. \nFood featuring Jack Stack\, non-alcoholic\, and canned alcoholic beverages are included throughout the day\, adding a true Kansas City touch to this premier tournament experience. \nDue to the limited number of spots available\, registration will be offered on a first-come\, first-served basis and is reserved exclusively for MCAKC members. \nCancellation Policy:\nWhile there is no cost to attend\, this opportunity represents a significant commitment by the Association. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event will be assessed a $125 per person cancellation fee. This policy allows us to manage our commitments and\, when possible\, offer spots to other interested members. \nAdditional details\, including registration information and event logistics\, will be shared closer to the event date.

SUMMARY:Annual Charity Golf Outing - 2026
DESCRIPTION:MCA of Kansas City's 19th Annual\nCharity Golf Outing\n \n\nDust off your clubs! MCA of Kansas City is excited to host our wildly popular Charity Golf Outing.  Proceeds of this year’s event will benefit a local based non-profit\, St. Michael's Veterans Center.  St. Michaels Veterans Center provides a vibrant community to support Kansas City veterans including affordable housing and on-location support services. \n\nEnjoy a fantastic day of golf at The National Golf Club on Monday\, September 14th.  \n\nThis is a 4-person scramble. Due to the Cheif Home Opener that evening – please note the new\, earlier times:  Golfer check-in begins at 8 AM with a shotgun start at 9 AM (lunch and post event Happy Hour are included in your registration fee).   \nChanges this year include eliminating the Putting Competition and Fastest Hole.  The Tournament will include a Horse Race at the end with the Top 6 teams.  Each team will select (2) players that will do an alternate shot\, two-hole playoff.  Ties will be determined by a blind chip-off.   \nTeam Registration Fees: $1\,600 / Foursome\nWe will NOT be accepting Single Player Registrations for this event. Registrations are limited to teams of four.\n  \n\n\nSave by pre-purchasing your raffle tickets – 10 tickets for $25 at the time of registration. The more you buy – the better your chance of winning! Just like last year\, you’ll be able to put your ticket in the bowl for the item(s) that you find most desirable.  \n\n\n  \nRegistration will open on Thursday\, June 25th for MCAKC Members at 9:00 am.  It will open to non-members on Monday\, June 29th.  Be sure to register your team ASAP – the event sells out quickly! \nPlease contact Kathleen Livingston if you would like to sponsor. \nDon’t golf but want to be part of the fun? Have a coworker who needs some fresh air? We’re looking for volunteers to help with the event. We have morning\, afternoon\, or full-day volunteer shifts available.
