Bringing an intern into your company gives you access to motivated talent while building a pipeline of future employees who already know your business. MCAKC’s Supplemental Internship Grant helps offset the cost, making the investment more accessible for Signatory Contractors.
MCAKC Supplemental Internship Grant
MCAKC offers a $3,000 Supplemental Internship Grant to Signatory Contractors, with a maximum of four grants per contractor. To qualify, contractors must submit each intern’s pay stub as verification of a minimum of 400 hours of employment.
JRGF Internship Grant Program
MCAKC’s Supplemental Internship Grant can be used independently or alongside the John R. Gentille Foundation (JRGF) Internship Grant Program, a national grant offered through MCAA. The JRGF program is designed to support companies that are new to offering internships, smaller companies, or those looking to grow their internship program.
Looking for Intern Candidates?
MCAKC supports two active MCAA Student Chapters at Kansas State University and Pittsburg State University. These students are already connected to the mechanical contracting industry and are actively seeking internship opportunities.
