Mechanical Contractors in Kansas City

MCAKC represents all mechanical contractors in our territory who have signed agreements, called Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), with Plumbers & Gasfitters Local 8 and/or Pipe Fitters Local 533. When those agreements are negotiated, we’re at the table advocating for all Kansas City contractors.

Becoming an MCAKC member is the next step. Contractor members gain access to expanded education and national resources that strengthen their workforce and grow their companies. Representation is automatic for signatory contractors, but membership unlocks real benefits worth having.

If your company is a signatory contractor with Local 8 or Local 533, reach out to Executive Director Stacy Zerr to request an application and confirm your eligibility. She’ll walk you through the requirements and get you started.
