Strengthened by National Partnerships.
The work that keeps Kansas City’s buildings running doesn’t happen in isolation. MCAKC connects local contractors to the national networks and resources that set the standard for safe, reliable mechanical systems.
How National Affiliation Benefits Kansas City
MCAKC is an affiliate of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA), the national organization that supports union mechanical contractors across the country.
Through this connection, our members operate with proven industry standards while also building relationships with contractors nationwide, giving them access to shared insights, best practices, and lessons learned that elevate the quality of work across Kansas City.
National resources help local contractors:
- Apply industry-proven best practices to their business operations.
- Collaborate and share creative solutions to our industry’s problems.
- Stay current on codes, technology, and energy requirements.
- Develop the next generation through education.
This affiliation protects the quality of the work and supports a stronger mechanical contracting industry in Kansas City.
TAUC: National Agreement Administration
The Association of Union Contractors (TAUC) is a national organization that supports and administers agreements governing some of the largest construction projects in the country, including the National Maintenance Agreement and the National Construction Agreement.
Since 2011, MCAKC has been recognized as a Local Employer Organization (LEO) by TAUC, a designation that reflects our commitment to supervisor development, craft personnel training, and workforce development.
We are proud of our 15-year partnership with TAUC and the recognition it represents for our contractor community.
A Network Built for Kansas City
MCAKC partners with local, regional, and national organizations across education, skilled trades, public safety, and workforce development. These relationships bring resources into Kansas City and strengthen the industry that builds and maintains our essential infrastructure.
