MCAKC membership starts locally and reaches nationally. When you join MCAKC, you also receive full membership with the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and/or Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA). It’s one membership with two levels of support, giving your company access to national resources while staying connected to the local mechanical contracting community.

Education and Training
- Free access to MCAKC courses including Field Leader Training, Project Engineering for Construction, and Mechanical Systems 101
- Continuing education credits approved by the Johnson County Contractor Licensing Review Board
- Reduced fees for select Johnson County Community College courses
Labor and Industry Representation
- MCAKC appoints trustees to Health & Welfare, Pension, and Joint Apprenticeship Trusts, giving your company a voice in decisions that affect benefits, training, and industry stability
- We represent contractor interests in day-to-day labor matters, helping address contract questions and resolve disputes
- Access to a network of trusted Vendor Members, including local suppliers and manufacturer representatives who support your operations
Community and Growth

Dues
MCAKC membership dues are $0.104 per hour (based on industry hours report to Local 8 and/or Local 533). These dues include MCAA and/or MSCA membership fees of $0.10 per hour.
