Workforce Development Breakfast with Local 533 & International UA Leadership

This meeting is aimed at the business and operations managers within our Signatory Contractor Member organizations.  Note:  This meeting is not open to Associate Members.  
 
Join MCAKC for a contractor-focused discussion on workforce growth strategies and the collaborative efforts underway to strengthen the future of our industry.
 
Representatives from UA Local 533 Pipefitters and the International UA — including Kevin Hendrickson, Jim Dahlin, Brad Bird, and Mike Kellett — will provide updates on current organizing initiatives, recruitment efforts, and long-term workforce development strategies designed to help meet the growing demand for skilled labor across the mechanical industry.
 
The conversation will also focus on how contractors can actively support these efforts and partner in building the future workforce pipeline. Attendees will receive an overview of the Provisional Journeyman classification, including program requirements, how it can be utilized as an organizing tool, and important considerations for implementation.
 
This session is designed to be informative, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with opportunities for open discussion and contractor questions.
