• Taxes at a high level (how contributions reduce taxable income)
• Common mistakes (lifestyle creep, under-saving despite good income)

 
Target Audience: Designed specifically for those looking to lay the groundwork for strong financial habits, manage their income effectively, and make informed decisions about saving, investing, and long-term financial planning. Only open to professionals working for contractors signatory to Local 8 or 533, or for MCAKC associate members.

Angelique Cheatem

is a dedicated financial services professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Counseling from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She began building her expertise early through active involvement in the Financial Planning Association and a strong commitment to community service. With four years of experience in the finance industry, Angelique is passionate about improving financial literacy and empowering individuals and families. She currently serves as Financial Education Program Manager at Pathway Financial Education, where she leads initiatives focused on expanding access to financial knowledge and resources.
