Join us for our quarterly MCAKC Safety Forum, a gathering designed for safety professionals and anyone committed to improving jobsite safety.

This meeting is open to any safety professional or employee interested in safety who is employed with a contractor signatory to LU 8 or LU 533.

This special November session will begin with a featured presentation from Matt Henderson, Regional Sales Manager with FallTech.

The Gravity of the Situation: Fall Protection Refresher
Gravity doesn’t take a day off, and neither can our safety systems. This presentation covers the essentials of fall protection, including the regulatory “why,” the equipment “how,” and the technical “what” of working safely at heights. Whether you’re looking for a refresher or practical insights to bring back to your team, this session will reinforce the fundamentals of effective fall protection.

If time allows, we’ll conclude the morning with our traditional Safety Forum roundtable discussion, giving attendees an opportunity to ask questions, share best practices, and discuss current safety challenges with peers from across the industry.

To help get the conversation started, please come prepared to share:

  • One safety idea or topic you’d like the group to discuss
  • One recent near miss or lesson learned
  • One safety question you have

Whether you’re a seasoned safety professional or new to a safety role, your perspective is valuable, and we encourage everyone to join the conversation.
