Your employees work alongside some of the most skilled tradespeople in the industry every day. But do they truly understand the depth of training that makes that possible?

This is your chance to show them!

MCAKC is hosting our annual tour of the Pipefitters Local 533 and Plumbers Local 8 Training Centers. Your office employees will get a front-row look at the rigorous apprenticeship and education programs that develop the skilled workforce driving your business forward. When your team understands the investment behind our tradespeople, they gain a deeper appreciation for the craft and that changes how they work together.

Both locals will lead hands-on activities and provide an in-depth look at their facilities and programs. This isn't a passive experience. Your employees will leave with real insight into what it takes to become a skilled tradesperson and a stronger respect for the people alongside whom they work every day.

This event is open to contractor employees who have not previously attended these tours and have never completed an accredited apprenticeship program. Space is limited to just 30 attendees, so register your team early.

Event Schedule:

• 8:30 AM — Meet at MCAKC to board the chartered bus
• 9:00 AM — Tour Pipefitters Local 533 Training Center
• 10:30 AM — Tour Plumbers Local 8 Training Center
• 12:00 PM — Lunch at Red Door Grill (6324 Brookside Plaza)
• 2:00 PM — Expected return to MCAKC
