Each year, MCAKC awards scholarships to high school students through two scholarship funds: the Pipefitters Industry Development Fund and the Plumbers Industry Fund.
Scholarship Details
- Eligibility: Parent or guardian must be an active member of Plumbers & Gasfitters Local 8 or Pipe Fitters Local 533
- Total award: $10,000 over four years
- Award breakdown: $1,250 per semester, up to eight semesters
- Application Requirements: High school transcripts, required documents, and a personal essay
- Academic Requirements: Students must attend an accredited college or career school and maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher
How to Apply
Applications for the 2026 cycle closed on April 30, 2026. The 2027 cycle will open in early 2027. All applications are reviewed by an unbiased academic professional through a third-party review process.
