MCAKC proudly recognizes the dedicated professionals who have successfully completed the 2025 Propel Level 2 Leadership Series, a program centered on strengthening leadership capabilities for managing and developing direct reports.
These graduates have demonstrated a strong commitment to growing their skills in Leading Others enhancing their ability to guide teams, support employee success, and foster productive working relationships. Through Propel Level 2, participants deepened their leadership competencies, gained practical insights, and expanded their professional networks within the mechanical contracting industry.
The Propel Leadership Program continues to play a vital role in preparing the next generation of leaders. By equipping emerging supervisors and managers with essential tools for leading people, MCAKC helps shape a stronger, more effective future for the industry.

Grant Opportunity #1
MCAA has updated its student internship grant process to focus on the intern. $500 grants will now be offered directly to students who accept internships or full-time positions from MCAA Member Contractors.
Grant Opportunity #2
MCAKC has renewed its program to assist Member Contractors in attracting young talent to our market. Grants will be paid upon verification of an intern’s 60th day of employment. Member Contractors are eligible to receive up to (2) $1,000 Grants in 2020.
Grant Opportunity #3
MCAKC & Plumbers Local 8 have to offer a pilot Pre-Apprentice internship designed to provide a commitment free experience of a career in the trades. Grants will be paid upon verification of an intern’s 60th day of employment. Member Contractors are eligible to receive (1) $1,000 Grant in 2020. Grants under this program are limited to the first (6) eligible participants.
