Construction Field Leader Training Program

The MCAKC Construction Field Leader Training Program equips current and emerging field leaders with practical skills to lead successful projects and teams.
Across seven instructor-led sessions, participants explore quality standards, field and office collaboration, project profitability, documentation and claims, project planning, estimating, and financial management. Each session connects field decisions to project performance, helping participants lead with greater confidence from pre-planning through closeout.
- Strengthen communication and collaboration between the field and office.
- Understand how field decisions affect quality, productivity, and profitability.
- Build practical skills in planning, documentation, estimating, and financial management.
- Apply what you learn to lead projects and teams more effectively.
This program is designed for new, experienced, or aspiring field leaders, superintendents, and others preparing for field leadership or management roles. It is especially valuable for journey-level tradespeople and advanced apprentices who are ready to strengthen their leadership skills and gain a broader understanding of project performance and management.
