This intermediate seminar is designed for project coordinators, project engineers, project managers, and support staff who need to deepen their understanding of mechanical systems beyond the basics. Led by Brad Perkins, a professional engineer and senior lecturer at Iowa State University, this seminar focuses on how air and hydronic systems function and are integrated into building projects—from design layout to installation realities in the field.

Image for Mechanical Systems 201 - Advanced Concepts for Construction CoordinationBrad Perkins, P.E., is a Senior Lecturer in Iowa State University’s Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering. A graduate of Iowa State’s Construction Engineering program, Brad joined the faculty in 2005 after working as a design engineer. He serves as faculty advisor to Iowa State’s Mechanical Contractors Association student chapter and has been recognized for his contributions to engineering education, including receiving MCAA’s Educator of the Year Award in 2018.

Registrants who do not cancel and do not attend (“No Shows”), except in the case of an emergency, will be invoiced $150.
