Propel 1 is designed for emerging leaders who manage projects and are preparing to take on greater leadership responsibilities.

About
Through eight instructor-led seminars, participants strengthen communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills while gaining practical tools they can apply immediately in the workplace.

Topics include leadership styles, team building, conflict resolution, communication, business writing, and critical thinking.
 
This program consists of 8, four-hour weekly seminars. Lunch is provided

Goals

  • Improve personal performance by strengthening personal management and communication skills.
  • Handle difficult management situations with greater certainty in decision making.
  • Identify how leadership styles affect team members and how to adjust those styles to gain commitment.
  • Identify and try new approaches needed for growth.
  • Build collaboration, teamwork, and trust to help others excel.

Tuition

No charge for employees of MCAKC Member Contractors signatory to Local 8 or Local 533.

$1,000 for non-member contractors signatory to LU 8 & LU 533 
$1,500 for Associate Members

*Successful completion of this program is defined as missing no more than one seminar in the educational series.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for this MCAKC event must be received at least 2 business days prior to the event by email to [email protected] or by phone at 913-948-9200.

Registrants who do not cancel and do not attend (“No Shows”), except in the case of an emergency, will be invoiced $100 per seminar in this series.
